Join Gesher Community Care, and Rhode Island Coalition for Israel, and Chicago Jewish Alliance for a virtual presentation Tues May 19th at 8pm Eastern in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and Jewish American Heritage Month. Gesher Community Care is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mental health and wellness in the Jewish community through counseling, education, and community resources. As Jews face an unprecedented spike in antisemitism around the globe, this presentation will feature an illuminating conversation with Drs. Shelly Steinwurtzel and Jessica Zmood on present-day strategies for Jewish resilience and post-traumatic growth.

This virtual presentation will include meaningful conversations, helpful insights, and practical resources you can actually use. It is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and be part of an open and supportive discussion. Register here to receive the Zoom link.

Adapt, grow, build across generations. These skills have enabled the Jewish people to thrive over the millennia, despite enduring tragedy after tragedy — including, of course, the Hamas invasion of Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

These Jewish Drs., New York-based clinical psychologists will discuss how the Hamas-held hostages persevered in horrific conditions, what lessons American Jews can learn from their strength of spirit and how Jewish traditions can help us heal and move forward.

About Our Speakers:
